TradersProgress (“we”, “us”, “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect when you visit tradersprogress.com, how we use it and what rights you have. We comply with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (revFADP).

Data we collect

Automatically collected data

When you visit this site, our hosting provider (Vercel) may log standard server access data including your IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URL and pages visited. This data is used solely for security, performance monitoring and abuse prevention, and is not sold or shared with third parties.

Analytics

We may use privacy-respecting analytics (such as Vercel Analytics or Plausible) to understand aggregate traffic patterns — which pages are visited most, which regions visitors come from and which features are used. No personally identifiable information is collected through analytics. No cross-site tracking cookies are set.

Preferences stored locally

Your light/dark mode preference is stored in your browser's localStorage. This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to our servers.

Affiliate links and third-party sites

This site contains affiliate links to third-party cryptocurrency exchanges. When you click such a link, you are redirected to the exchange's website. From that point, the exchange's own privacy policy applies. We have no control over how third-party sites collect or process your data. We recommend reviewing the privacy policy of any exchange before creating an account.

Affiliate networks may set tracking cookies to attribute referrals. These cookies are set by the destination site, not by TradersProgress. You can block third-party cookies in your browser settings if you prefer not to be tracked.

Cookies

TradersProgress itself does not set any tracking or advertising cookies. The only browser storage we use is localStorage for your theme preference. Vercel (our hosting provider) may set strictly necessary cookies for infrastructure purposes.

Data retention

Server access logs retained by Vercel are governed by Vercel's privacy policy. We do not operate our own databases of personal data and do not retain any information about individual visitors beyond what is captured in standard server logs.

Your rights

Under GDPR and revFADP, you have the right to access, correct or delete any personal data we hold about you, to object to processing and to data portability. Given that we collect minimal personal data, most of these rights are satisfied by the fact that we simply do not store identifiable data about you.
